We are looking for an experience Sales person in the Hotel sector. Must have previous experience in hotels

As a Hotel Sales manager you will develop business with a pro-active approach to all avenues of sales technique, including; direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls and tours of the hotel.

You will develop a clear understanding of the hotel’s business strategies, set goals and determine action plans for the hotel to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue.

The successful candidate will have proven success in a similar role within the hotel industry with recognisable experience of developing and managing strong relationships with clients.

The hotel has 41 bedrooms with extensive F&B facilities that includes casual dining restaurant, Lounge Bar, large function room, private dining rooms and a bespoke marquee holding up to 350 guests for conferences, weddings and events.

We are looking for a professional Sales and Marketing Manager selling all areas of the venue within both the corporate and leisure markets and with the previous sales and marketing experience be able to network with their connections to highlight the operation and to increase sales and revenue for the business.

Ideally the person will be from a hotel sales background with knowledge of the regional market and to manage and develop sales with a combined approach of both ensuring all enquiries are dealt with efficiently by the team to secure the business as well as client meetings from both previous and new users of the operation, to assist in achieving sales targets and budgets in all areas and to be both pro-active and re-active within the role.

As Sales Manager you will build and develops strong relationships with our clients, managing the client accounts, revenue generation, local PR and marketing.

Passion for Sales is a must as are excellent communication skills, being a team player and being driven by enthusiasm and personality. Experience within a hospitality background is beneficial but Sales Managers must have passion for hospitality and the way we deliver service with a smile

This is an end to end Sales role where you will work closely with both external and internal clients to drive Sales, conversion and event booking detail. Utilising your strong selling skills you will ensure that you capture and deliver a high level of sales and pre-event / post event delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive event sales reactively and pro-actively
  • Utilise strong selling skills
  • Drive conversion from enquiries to bookings
  • Manage the detail of the event bookings
  • Liaise with event organisers to ensure all needs are managed and delivered
  • Become a first point of contact for event organisers
  • Work with the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Produced detailed function sheets for each event and communicate this to the Operations Team
