A total of seven counties are in line for a powdering of the white stuff, weather maps from wxcharts.com indicate.
The North West region will be particularly hit, with three counties set for snow.

Snow is set to fall over parts of the Midlands too, blanketing Staffordshire, Worcestershire and Leicestershire.
The snow is set to arrive at noon on Monday, March 31.
A large band will extend down from Cumbria, through Lancashire and Greater Manchester, and down to Staffordshire past Stoke.
Parts of Cumbria could experience icy temperatures of -2C at 6am that day.
A sprinkle is forecasted on the coast of the East Riding of Yorkshire, along parts of Worcestershire and Leicestershire.

In its long range weather forecast from March 22 to March 31, the Met Office said: “The first weekend of this period is likely to be more unsettled than it has been of late.
“Wetter weather will probably continue to spread to all areas from the west or southwest, at least for a time, with some heavy rain possible, and this could be accompanied by strong winds at times.
“Into the following week, unsettled conditions will probably continue across many parts of the UK, though things could quieten down around midweek, at least temporarily.
“Temperatures are likely to be widely above average at the start of this period, and it will feel warm in any sunshine, before probably falling back and then fluctuating around average for the remainder rest of March.”
