EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne have called it quits. Reports suggest that 32 year old Jacqueline is staying in their family home with the children, while Dan has recently moved out to a place nearby.
Dan reportedly left the family home just last week, only months after the couple expressed surprise over rumours of a split. Earlier this year in January, amidst recurring speculation about their relationship, they had publicly refuted claims of separation.
A statement released stated: “Jacqueline and Dan are handling things privately, choosing to keep their lives and relationship out of the public eye,” and continued, “They kindly ask for respect and privacy as they navigate this together. Their children remain their top priority, surrounded by love and care from both parents – something that will never change. Above all, Jacqueline and Dan have each other’s and their children’s best interests at heart. There will be no further comment.”

An insider close to the pair revealed: “Jacqueline and Dan are on a break and are spending time apart from each other. It’s not been easy for them lately and they have made this difficult decision.” The source also mentioned that the future is uncertain for Jac and Dan, but the separation was “needed”, reports the Mirror.
An insider disclosed to The Sun that even while navigating their issues, the couple remains “amicable”. They further asserted that there was no other reason for their decisions except their own relationship dynamics.
“Jac and Dan have been rocked by their fair share of scandals but this situation could not be further from that,” they remarked.
Hours before this story hit the headlines, Jacqueline appeared visibly distressed on social media. Going onto her Instagram Stories, the mother of two shared several sombre snaps. With a simple ‘Saturday’ caption, she donned a black and white striped short sleeve top along with light blue jeans. Despite a full face of makeup, her sombre expression spoke volumes.

In the previous year during Easter celebrations, Dan was noticeably absent from Jacqueline’s social media posts, and her wedding ring was nowhere to be seen. However, this fuelled gossip was shot down by insider claims that they were “happier than ever”, suggesting Dan was simply occupied during the festive period.
Jacqueline Jossa, best known for her role as Lauren Branning in EastEnders, and reality TV personality Dan Osborne, of The Only Way Is Essex fame, tied the knot back in 2017 at an exquisite estate in Cheshire. The pair are doting parents to Ella, aged nine, Mia, aged six, and Dan also has an 11 year old son, Teddy, from a previous relationship.
Earlier this year, the family abode of Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne was listed for sale, with buzz in the neighbourhood that Dan had snapped up a new property close by in his own name. In the past year, Jacqueline took to social media to address whispers of Dan’s alleged infidelity and rumours about another split in their marriage.

In a glimpse into her personal life last year, Jacqueline posted an array of affectionate photos alongside Dan, expressing her feelings with a heartfelt caption: “Just realised I haven’t even posted on the grid about Daniel’s bday or our anniversary and I just wanted to do a little appreciation post for my bestest friend in the world. Over 10 years and 7 of them married. Love you more than ever. Crazy little world isn’t it. Also it’s crazy how little photos we take now. Need more! !”.
The couple’s tumultuous relationship history can be traced back to 2015 when Dan was embroiled in scandal, facing allegations of questionable conduct with a high-profile model. As the years rolled by, further accusations emerged, including suspected infidelity with ex-Love Island contestant Gabby Allen. These claims led to strains in their marriage, yet Jacqueline has always signalled she’s managed to navigate through these rocky patches.
Amidst the drama during her stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! there were claims that Jacqueline considered exiting the jungle following a co-star’s suggestion that Dan might have stepped out on her with the Love Island celeb. Instead, she reportedly took a brief time-out from the show to send Dan a telling voicemail.
