Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patrons enjoy a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant’s point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently while ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials to enhance the dining experience.
- Maintain knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and standards.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing help where necessary to resolve issues.
- Keep the dining area clean and organised, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently juggle multiple tasks during service periods.
- A background in culinary arts or food preparation is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on guest interaction and service excellence.
- A keen interest in the hospitality industry with a desire to learn and grow within the role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £23,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
