About Us: The Bank House Hotel & Golf Club is a 4-star hotel which boasts 66 rooms, a restaurant and bar, as well as flexible business facilities with meeting and conference rooms suitable for training courses, conferences, workshops or corporate celebration dinners, weddings & events for up to 500 people. It also has the beautiful Malvern View Spa, and picturesque Bransford Golf Club.

An opportunity has arisen at the Bank House Hotel, Spa & Golf Club for a Reception Manager to join and lead our busy reception team.

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Reception Manager to lead our front desk team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess excellent leadership skills, and have a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the reception area, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
  • Manage and train reception staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and guest information.
  • Implement and monitor reception policies and procedures to enhance guest experience.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Reception Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
