WXCharts predicts that the weekend’s blast of warm weather was due to stick around, with temperatures hitting 20C in some regions.
The maps suggest the mercury will rise to the high teens and low twenties next weekend, The Express reports.

A heatwave has been defined by the Met Office as an extended period of hot weather, relative to the expected conditions for the time of year.
It would seem a 20C spell would qualify as it bucks the monthly average for April, which is usually lies at around 13C.
WXCharts has forecast the settled conditions to hold throughout the weekend, with areas in the southeast still experiencing highs of 19C by 6pm on Sunday, April 6.
The weather was set to warm up from Wednesday, April 2, where highs of 18C were expected, before hitting 20C from Friday onwards.
Honor Criswick, a Met Office meteorologist, said the sunny and mild spell was due to a “blocked weather pattern”, which would kick in as “high pressure builds”.
However she warned that the pleasant daytime temperatures could still be followed by overnight frosts, especially in rural areas.
For the five days ahead, the Met Office has predicted settled and sunny weather, following some drizzle in the far southeast and northern England.
It also said dry conditions were expected across the country, but it could turn chilly overnight.
