Thugs ‘racially abused’ two women and ‘threatened them with a dog’ as they walked along a Perry Barr street.
Two men approached the women on Walsall Road at around 8.25pm on Saturday, March 15.
The men reportedly swore at the women, and were racially abusive.
Police said the men also threatened the victims with the dog before they walked off.
The victims were left shaken by the ordeal, but were not injured.
West Midlands Police said it was “committed to identifying and arresting those responsible” and had been checking CCTV in the area.
A force spokesperson said: “We’re investigating after two women were racially abused on Walsall Road in Perry Barr at Saturday at around 8.25pm.
“They were approached by two men who had a dog.
“The men swore at and racially abused the women and threatened them with the dog.
“They left the scene on foot. The women were shaken, but not physically harmed.
“We have been carrying out CCTV enquiries and are speaking to the victims.
“We are also in contact with the local community, who are understandably concerned by what has happened.
“We are committed to identifying and arresting those responsible and would encourage anyone with information to come forward.”
