In an Instagram story on Friday, Danny wrote: “Sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me. “I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny.”
Last year when Danny was crowned King of the Jungle Dougie reduced Danny to tears when he called him shortly after the win saying: “Dude, you did amazing, I was so proud.” Danny responded: “I love you so much man. I’ve been a mess all day, I can’t quite take it all in.”

He cares so deeply about his family and hopes his words will draw a line under what has been a deeply upsetting time for everyone. Georgia and his son are absolutely everything to him.
“He wants to move on and heal in private.” The source added: “Fair play to Danny for owning this and addressing things head-on. He and Georgia are living together and trying to work things through but he is not out of the woods. He will be in the doghouse for a while yet.”
