Edward Riley, now 56-years-old, was given a five-year prison sentence after being found guilty of multiple historical child sexual abuse charges. In February, Riley, from Pitway, South Petherton, Somerset, was convicted for a series of appalling indecent assaults on minors that occurred decades earlier.
On Friday, March 14, he stood before Worcester Crown Court where he was sentenced. His convictions include six counts of indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14, two counts of indecent assault on a boy under 14, and two counts of inciting a boy to commit an act of gross indecency spanning from 1982 to 1986 in Kidderminster.
As of 2025, Riley has been mandated to register as a sex offender for life, reports the Mirror.
