Midlands man vanishes after failing to return on train home as family say ‘this is out of character’

A police search is underway to find a missing man who hasn’t been seen for nearly three days after he failed to return on a train home.

Lee vanished from Evesham, Worcestershire, but the last confirmed sighting of the 36-year-old was in central Bristol at around 10.30am on Tuesday, March 11.

His worried family said they haven’t heard from Lee since he told them he was going to catch a train home.

His family told police that Lee has no links to Bristol and that his disappearance was very out of character.

Lee is 5ft 11ins tall, with short brown hair, and has a distinguishing birth mark on his right arm.

He usually has a beard.

Lee was wearing a blue jacket, dark-coloured jeans and had a rucksack the last time he was spotted.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “Can you help us find Lee, 36?

“He’s missing from Evesham, Worcestershire, but the last confirmed sighting of him was in central Bristol at about 10.30am on Tuesday, March 11.

“His family haven’t heard from him since Tuesday, when he said he’d catch a train home but failed to return.

“Lee has no known links to Bristol and this is out of character.

“He’s 5ft 11ins tall, with short dark brown hair and a beard and a distinguishing birth mark on his right arm.

“He was wearing a blue jacket, dark-coloured jeans and had a rucksack.

“If you know where Lee is, please call 999 and give the reference 5225073912, or ring 101 with any other information.”
