Fans of Gogglebox star Izzi Warner declared her son had ‘won’ World Book Day after she posted a picture of his ‘hilarious’ effort.

Bobby, 10, had donned a black wig with a blunt fringe to transform into Claudia Winkleman for the day.

The youngster also wore heavy make-up, a turtleneck and cloak to complete the look as he clutched a copy of The Traitors book.

Izzi, who stars in the Channel 4 show alongside her sister Ellie, captioned the post: “World Book Day and the most convincing @claudiawinkle I have ever seen!

“We have never laughed so much on a school morning, didn’t even have to buy any make up turns out I’m the same shade as Claudia herself.”

The post attracted thousands of likes and comments from an array of famous faces, including former Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffat, who said: “This is truly amazing.”

Sian Welby thought he “looks more like Claudia than Claudia does”, while Vicky Pattison simply said: “Dead.”

Coronation Street star Anthony Cotton questioned whether Claudia had seen it – and she had.

Claudia branded the snap “amazing”, followed by a red heart emoji.

Izzi replied: “Thank you! Bobs is happy to step in any time you need cover,” as Claudia responded: “Done xxx.”

She told fans: “Because I’ve put the music on the post, you can hear the video but I’ll put it on my story so you can hear the impression.”

The impression did not disappoint, as it showed Bobby performing a classic Claudia swoop.

As he turned, he said: “Are you a traitor or are you a faithful?”
