Christine Fish has been missing for a week-and-a-half since leaving a friend’s house – with her last known sighting walking into WH Smith’s in Shrewsbury a week ago
A new image has been issued in the hunt to find a missing former Midlands vet who has not been seen in a week.
Christine Fish disappeared on Wednesday, February 26 after leaving a friend’s home in Market Drayton at around 6.30pm.
The 55-year-old was reported missing two days later on Friday, February 28.
Christine was also last seen on CCTV in Shrewsbury last Friday.

Over the weekend friends set up a search party but there have been no confirmed sightings since.
The new image shows Christine walking into WH Smith in Castle Street around 9.40am on Friday, shortly after she had gone into the Blacks store in Shoplatch at 9.15am.
She is pictured wearing a hat, black jacket and trousers, and what appear to be walking boots. She is also carrying a rucksack.
It is also believed her phone was used in Sutton Hill in Telford on Monday, March 3.

Christine is described as a white female, 5’7” tall, slim build, with grey shoulder length hair.
She wears glasses and was last seen wearing a rainbow-coloured scarf, Lilo and Stitch jumper, a purple/black coloured Regatta coat, black jeans and trainers.
A spokesperson for Market Drayton Crime & Safety Watch responding to the update said: “We must take this opportunity to address an important question – does Christine want to be found?
“The police have been clear—based on all available information, they believe Christine needs to be found.
“Our job is to continue searching and sharing relentlessly. People need to see Christine’s photo and remain extra vigilant.”

Detective Sergeant Michael Dunscombe from West Mercia Police said: “It is now a week and a half since Christine was reporting missing and a week since she was last seen on CCTV in Shrewsbury town centre.
“Of course, her family and ourselves are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare and would ask Christine, or anyone who knows where she is or has seen her, to please get in contact with us.”
