Two cars were stolen in the incident
Police have issued a CCTV image of a man officers would like to speak to after two car key burglaries in Birmingham.
Two cars were taken from a driveway in Sutton Coldfield in the early hours of December 31, 2024.
Officers said keys were reportedly taken from a house in the neighbourhood and used to steal two vehicles.

Police probing the New Year’s Eve theft have issued an image of a man they wish to speak to following the incident, which took place at around 3am.
West Midlands Police issued two images of a man that they wish to speak to today, Thursday March 6.
In the pictures the man is shown to be wearing a black or dark coloured waterproof jacket, grey jogging bottoms and light coloured trainers.

The CCTV image appeal, issued on Thursday evening, shows the man walking on the street outside a shop.
Investigating officers have provided a log number so anyone with information can get in touch directly about the crime.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We’d like to speak to this man after two cars were stolen following a burglary in Sutton Coldfield.
“A house on Harvington Way was broken into around 3am on 31 December.
“Car keys were taken from the house, and then used to steal two cars from the driveway.
“We later recovered one of the cars in Dudley.
