Princess Eugenie said the late Michelle Trachtenberg ‘brought joy to so many’ as she paid tribute to her ‘special friend’.
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star was found dead at a New York home on Wednesday.
The 39-year-old’s death was not being treated as suspicious by authorities.

It has been reported she may have suffered complications from a recent liver transplant.
However her official cause of death was yet to be determined by a medical examiner, the Mirror reports.
Eugenie, who is the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, took to Instagram to share a snap of her alongside the Gossip Girl and EuroTrip star.
Her moving tribute read: “Goodbye special friend. You are so loved and missed.
“Thank you for so many memories of laughter and fun. You were so thoughtful and generous and soooo funny.
“My favourite was listening to you order food, always done with precision so you got exactly what we all wanted.
“I’m thinking of you up there friend, of your spirit that was so bright and your joy you brought to so many.”
Michelle had previously revealed she met the royal in New York and described her as “one of the most dearest, kindest, most genuine friends I have ever had in my life”.
Eugenie lived in the Big Apple from 2013 to 2015 while working for Paddle8.
According to ABC in America, Michelle – who also starred in Harriet the Spy – died of “natural causes”.
The publication said: “Trachtenberg is believed to have died of natural causes and no foul play is suspected.”
