A murder victim who was discovered in a house in Stonnall has been named by police.
Natasha Callan, aged 48, was found dead at a property on Main Road at 7.50am yesterday (February 25) by the emergency services.
A 53-year-old man, from the Lichfield area, was arrested on suspicion of murder.

Detectives have been granted a superintendent’s extension this evening to question him.
A post mortem is due to take place tomorrow (Thursday 27 February).

The woman’s family are being supported by specialist officers.
Paramedics were also called to the property and the house was cordon off to allow investigations.
Police said earlier in a statement: “A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman died in Stonnall.
“We were called at 7.50am yesterday morning by colleagues at West Midlands Ambulance Service to reports a woman had died inside a property on Main Street.
“A 53-year-old man, from the Lichfield area, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.”
