A burglar in Sutton Coldfield raised a home on Valentine’s Day evening while a grandmother was inside the home
A house was raided in Sutton Coldfield while a grandma was inside the property.
The break-in took place in Green Lanes in Wylde Green between 6pm and 10pm on Friday, February 14.
A concerned relative posted online: “Unfortunately, my mother-in-law’s house was smashed into and robbed while my grandmother was inside.

“I’m appealing for any information or CCTV footage anyone may have to try point us in the right direction.
“The incident happened towards the top of Green Lanes, Wylde Green.”
The concerned relative added: “My beloved grandmother was inside the property and now has rendered my family frightened. Any information or help is greatly appreciated.”
West Midlands Police said officers were investigating the incident.

A spokesman for the force said: “We are investigating after a house was burgled in Sutton Coldfield.
“On the evening of February 14, valuables were stolen from a house in Green Lanes.
“Our officers are now working to collect CCTV and doorbell footage from the surrounding area.
