The former EastEnders actress has had a rollercoaster love life
Charlie Brooks is currently on our screens hoping to skate her way to the final of Dancing on Ice.
The former EastEnders actress, who played the murderous Janine Butcher on the BBC soap, is performing again tonight (Sunday, February 16) as she hopes to stay in the ITV competition for another week.
The actress, 43, is currently the second favourite to be eliminated this week with odds of 2/1, just behind former footballer Anton Ferdinand who has odds of 11/8.
As well as her role in EastEnders, Charlie has appeared in episodes of The Bill, London’s Burning, Jonathan Creek and The Demon Headmaster.

She also played Beverley Allitt, the nurse who was convicted of murdering four children and harming nine others in 1993, in dramatised documentary Angel of Death.

Charlie Brooks’ split from boyfriend
As she started Dancing on Ice, Charlie was taking things slowly with her new boyfriend, TV producer James Fuller.
She had shared snaps of them cuddling up together on Instagram, with James also posting an affectionate hand-holding photo with Charlie, complete with a love heart emoji.
When quizzed about whether her man would pop by the Dancing on Ice set, Charlie kept it coy: “Maybe, we’re still early days!”
But the couple have now reportedly split just weeks after going public, with James reportedly referring to Charlie as an “amicable ex girlfriend.”
An insider told The Sun: “They’re still really close but she wanted to concentrate on Dancing On Ice.”
“It’s very demanding and she’s training six days a week. It’s hard to keep a romantic relationship going with all the hard work she’s putting in but they’re still best friends.”
Charlie Brooks’ ex who lived upstairs
Charlie has a good history for staying friends with her exes, with two of them developing a ‘super close’ relationship.
Charlie previously opened up about the unconventional yet close relationship she had with her ex-partner Ben Hollington and her previous partner Tony Truman, whose daughter Kiki they co-parent.
She confessed that Tony lived upstairs and was profoundly affected when he learnt about her breakup with Ben, even shedding tears over the split.
Recollecting their tight-knit bond on Kate Thornton’s White Wine Question Time podcast, Charlie shared how the trio would wake up on Christmas Day together, with Tony joining her and Ben in bed to open presents with Kiki.
They even went on holidays as a group, speaking to the deep connection they all shared.
Delving into details, Charlie said: “My ex partner Ben, who I was with for five or six years, who’s an amazing human being, you know, we woke up on Christmas Day together, all of us.
“Tony would come down, we’d all get into bed and open the presents together with Kiki, cos she adores Ben, and I think it can be problematic.”
Reflecting on the dynamics and different approaches she and Tony have towards their unique situation, she admitted: “I think he probably has more issues with that sort of thing than I do.
“I’ve been single for four years, so that’s the longest I’ve ever been single. Then I was with Ben before that for five or six years, who was just really accepting.
“Tony absolutely adored him, we all went on holiday together.”
She added: “Tony cried when me and Ben broke up. He actually cried.”
Discussing her relationship with Tony, who runs a nightclub in Ibiza, she revealed: “And it’s not always been easy, he’s in Ibiza for eight or nine months out of the year and bringing Kiki up on my own a lot of the time was tough and we’ve really had to navigate our way around that.
“But whatever happens, no matter how much we fall out, which we have done, big time, it’s not always plain sailing, but 80 per cent of the time it is and he’s a good man and he’s looked after us.”
She affectionately added: “He’s a character, I love him to bits, he can be an a******* sometimes, but nobody’s perfect are they?”

Charlie welcomed her daughter Kiki, who is now pursuing her studies. She recently turned 20, and Charlie couldn’t contain her excitement as she took to Instagram to celebrate her.
She posted: “20 years ago today I birthed this wild thing @kikitruman. So pleased the frontal lobe is starting to form.
“What an adventure. Thank you for choosing me to be ya mamma, and your dad @tonytrumanibiza.
“We are here for all of it and we love you more than you could know. Happy birthday baby.”
Fans were struck by the resemblance between mother and daughter, with one commenting: “That last pic she is the spit of you!”
While another remarked: “She is your twin! ” A third chimed in: “Such a beauty just like your mama.”
